Boost Mobile has quietly brought back its 'Buy 6 Months, Get 6 Free' deal, effectively relaunching annual plans on its website. The offer is available on Boost's two flagship plans normally priced at $50/month (for 40GB) and $60/month (for 50GB) respectively. Boost continues to push other phone and plan offers as well like 50% off your first month, a free year of service, and 4 lines for $100 with 4 free Moto G5G phones. The offers collectively seem to set the baseline for their 2025 tax season promos.
BOGO 6 Months Free Details
Boost Mobile's Unlimited+ and Unlimited Premium plans are the two that are available as part of the promo.
The following table details what's different about each plan to help you decide if either may be right for you.
Unlimited+ | Unlimited Premium | |
---|---|---|
Standard Price | $50/mo, $600/yr | $60/mo, $720/yr |
Annual Plan Promo Price | $300 ($25/mo) | $360 ($30/mo) |
5G Data | 40GB | 50GB |
Hotspot | 40GB | 50GB |
Canada and Mexico Roaming | No | 5GB |
Taxes and fees are included in the prices.
Both plans come with unlimited talk and text. The hotspot data allotment draws from your on device allotment and is not separate. After the high-speed data cap is reached, Boost says your data speeds may be reduced to 512Kbps. Boost Mobile has the ability to operate on the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Boost 5G networks. Boost has been making an effort to get its own network SIMs into the hands of its customers. If you're using a Boost Mobile network SIM in an area with Boost 5G coverage, your high-speed data cap may be increased to 100GB or removed entirely.

I'm not a fan of annual plans due to the commitment they require and sizeable upfront costs. They might also cost you the opportunity of a better deal down the road. And if you find the service isn't up to the standards you require, you will be stuck or out some good money if you elect to leave. With those potential faults out of the way, the plans due appear to provide good value to consumers. You get a lot of data to use, a lot of hotspot, and no additional taxes or fees to pay. However, video streaming may be limited to 480p. You should also be aware that this is also a price point where you'll find some truly unlimited data plans available from other carriers to consider.
Last year, the offer was available exclusively on Boost's $25/month base (30GB) unlimited plan.
These multi-month plan offers can be found about half way down Boost Mobile's plans webpage.
Other Offers Include 50% Off Your First Month, Free Year of Service, 4 Free Phones
Boost's 50% off your first month deal has been running for a long time. New customers can get Boost Mobile's $25/month plan for $12.50 for their first month. This is a basic unlimited plan that does not include any hotspot the regular price is actually $30/month unless you enable autopay billing which drops it down to $25/month. There are no taxes and fees. It includes 30GB of data at up to 5G data speeds although you may have a higher data speed allotment or be unlimited if you are connected to Boost's native network.
Boost Mobile will give you a free year of service on that $25/month unlimited plan when you buy a phone from them priced at $299.99 or more. The cheapest phone I could find with the offer on Boost's website right now is the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G for $399.99.
The 4 lines for $100 with 4 free Moto G 5G's is an in store only offer that requires AutoPay billing, ID verification and activation on the Boost 5G network.
The final offer that continues to be available on the $25/month plan is that new customers will get half off line 2 for a year, or they can buy 3 lines and get the third line free.
The iPhone 13 is also being touted as "free" in stores when you switch your number to Boost and sign up for the $60 unlimited plan. The phone does require an upfront payment of $49 to get it but Boost will refund that payment in $5 bill credits over the course of 10 months. There is an online variation of the offer that requires customers to pay $149 for the phone. They'll get the cost of that back over the course of 10 monthly $15 bill credits.
You'll find these offers highlighted on this Boost Mobile's deals page.
There isn't any true end dates available for any of the offers discussed. I would expect them to continue through the tax season and possibly beyond.
