Boost Mobile continues to run several online phone and plan deals. Featured phone deals include offers to "save up to $550 on Motorola." Customers can get the Moto G Stylus 5G for $9.99 (Boost reg list price is $199.99). The Moto Edge+ is available for $199.99 (Boost reg list price $749.99). The phones do require the purchase of Boost's $40 unlimited plan. Speaking of Boost and "unlimited," new customers can still save 50% off their first month on Boost's $25 unlimited plan. This is the currently featured deal on the very top of Boost's website.

The Fine Print Of Boost Mobile's Motorola Phone Deals

In order to claim one of the two Boost Mobile Motorola phone deals, you'll have to be a new customer. Porting a number in is not required. However, you can still port your number if you'd like or get a new one with activation. You'll also need to signup for Boost Mobile's $40 plan.

Boost's $40 plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data with the first 35GB of data each month available at up to 5G data speeds before throttling to the equivalent of 3G data speeds or about 512Kbps. The plan allows for up to 12GB of data to be used for mobile hotspot. Hotspot data is not separate and draws from the plan's 35GB high-speed data allotment.

Boost Mobile does not specify which network you'll be using the phone and plan with, however, "Expanded Data Network" is used on the plan details page. Expanded Data Network has previously been used by Boost to describe plans using the T-Mobile network for coverage, whereas "Transformed Network" has been used to describe plans on AT&T's network. (Update 02/6/23: Although Expanded Data Network is used on the plan details page, BestMVNO has noted that AT&T SIMs are being sent out with at least some, if not all, Motorola phone orders.)

It is not clear if customers will be able to switch to another plan if they take advantage of one of the Motorola phone deals after their first month on the $40 plan. The phones are sold locked to Boost Mobile for a period of 12 months. So you cannot buy one and take it to another network unless you first use it with Boost for the duration of the lock period.

Get Half Off Unlimited

Boost Mobile Half Off Unlimited First Month

If you don't want the plan and phone deals from above, Boost continues to offer new customers 50% off their starter unlimited plan. Boost starter unlimited plan costs $25/month and includes unlimited talk, text, and data with the first 30GB of data each month available at up to 5G data speeds before throttling to 512Kbps. New customers can get this plan for $12.50 for their first month. After that, they'll pay the plan's regular rate of $25/month with autopay billing enabled. Without autopay, the plan is $35/month. Taxes and fees are extra but should only add around $2 more to the total cost.

Although the plan is not advertised as including mobile hotspot, over the last few months multiple subscribers of the plan have stated that they can use the entire plan's high-speed data allotment for mobile hotspot (source 1, 2).

The plan offer is available for use on the AT&T network.

Other ongoing featured online deals from Boost Mobile include a free TCL tablet with the purchase of a 6-month plan with 5GB of monthly data ($90), a free hotspot with a 2GB $10/month plan, and the newly launched Celero 5G+ phone with a 7-inch screen for $149.99 (advertised retail value $289.99).
