Boom! Mobile Signs Sponsorship Deal With Thrill Sports, Includes Power Slap, SLS Skateboarding, and Nitro Circus

The T-Mobile and Verizon-powered MVNO bets big on sports marketing to fuel brand awareness and subscriber growth.

Wave7 Research recently reported that Boom! Mobile has signed a new 3-year partnership deal with Thrill Sports that's said to be a "multi-million-dollar investment." The deal encompasses Thrill Sports brands Power Slap, Street Leave Skateboarding (SLS), and Nitro Circus U.S. Tour stops. The deal grants Boom! Mobile exclusive rights in the wireless service category for these brands. UFC’s Dana White is an investor in Thrill Sports.

Boom! Mobile is no stranger to sponsorships. The MVNO has sponsored racing events over the last few years and in early 2025 announced the sponsorship of race car driver Taylor Reimer. The company also been a regular sponsor of the All Wireless & Prepaid Expo.

Boom! Mobile's partnership with Thrill Sports will put them in front of millions of fans across its sports properties. The MVNO will appear at live events via signage, jumbotron and LED integrations, and will offer on-site service activations. Fans can also participate in Boom!-branded fan interactions such as trick voting, challenges, giveaways, and VIP experiences. On social media, Boom! Mobile will sponsor content like “Call Your Shot” and “Dialed In”, spotlighting athletes and key moments across each sport.

Boom! Mobile is an MVNO that operates on both the T-Mobile and Verizon networks. The company's website has been updated to feature Power Slap clips and a new promo plan the "Power Slap 15," which includes unlimited talk and text with 4GB of high-speed data for $15/month.

In addition to the Power Slap promo, Boom! Mobile is also pushing another special plan offer and a device warranty. The plan offer is a ten month phone plan that includes 3GB of monthly 5G data for $100 or an average cost of $10/month. Taxes are included.

Last year, the company introduced extended warranty and accidental damage protection, including coverage for BYOD (bring your own device) customers. BYOD users must wait up to 30 days before coverage begins, allowing Boom! to perform remote diagnostics. Every new Boom! Mobile plan automatically includes three months of free device protection, but subscribers are automatically billed after the trial period unless they cancel. The MVNO does not currently disclose ongoing protection pricing on its website.
