Fix your MMS picture messaging and data internet problems with one of the APN settings listed.

Please note: It is very IMPORTANT that you follow all the formatting shown in the APN text settings.

If you see something capitalized, then capitalize it in your settings. If you see a comma, use a comma, if there are no spaces between the comma and other words, then don't make spaces between them and the words in your settings. If you don't follow this advice, your APN settings will not work properly, and your internet and/or mms picture messaging may not work. Last, you are likely visiting this page because you can't get your mms or data to work properly. Prior to switching to one of the settings listed here, it is recommended that you delete all the other non working APN settings on your phone. After applying the new settings, be sure to save them, and then select one. If you still find they don't work, try rebooting your phone. If you still don't have success, leave a comment so the issue can be looked into. If you find you have APN settings that work and are different than listed here, feel free to share the settings in the comments section or send an email so that the database can be updated. If you need to send an email for any other reason, please list what phone you are using and which carrier/MVNO that you are having trouble getting your APN to work with.

If you tried the above and nothing at all works for you, your phone shows no signal and you still can’t place calls, send texts and use data, your phone is either not compatible with the Verizon Wireless network or you have a bad SIM card and should request a new one from Verizon Wireless.

If you can use some parts of the phone like make calls and send texts but can not connect to the internet or send MMS your SIM card is fine but your phone may not be compatible with the network. It may also be that you still haven’t found a working APN for your device. You should also double check your APN settings and make sure you haven’t accidentally added a space, or comma to a setting when there shouldn’t be any.

My 1plus 6T unlocked. Total Wireless carrier. Total Wireless APN different from the Verizon APN. I can put in the TW APN and save and get data but it defaults to the Verizon APN if I do a restart. I have bars and lte but no data. Also maybe a separate issue not able to text or receive texts and photos
Suggestions? I have about 14 hours on the phone with support people from both sides and no resolution. Thanks

Hi Joe – I’m hoping you can help me with an issue I’ve been having with receiving pictures via MMS messages. I’m on Verizon and I have a ZTE Axon 7 running Android 7.1.1, kernel version 3.18.31, build number A2017UV1.1.0B35. For a while now, pictures that I received via MMS would only come through at a maximum 30 KB, even when they were sent as approximately 1 MB. I’ve confirmed with a Verizon network tech that the network is delivering the 1 MB picture to my device. To verify it was my phone, I switched SIM cards with my wife… Read more »

Thanks Joe – assuming you emailed me directly. Using Verizon’s Messages+ app allowed me to receive MMS messages of approximately 1 MB somehow. I’ve previously tried to diagnose it with Message+, too, when talking to Verizon. That’s actually the first thing they make you do, but it didn’t change anything before. But of course, since I just downloaded it to check again, somehow I can receive MMS messages normally with Message+ now but not with any other texting app that sends MMS messages. This is still a bizarre issue that didn’t exist when I bought the phone years ago, but… Read more »

Hi there guys; I have a carrier unlocked moto z2 force…I’m not able to edit the access point values except for the MVNO value and the APN value.

The phone was previously locked to T Mobile, but has been unlocked permanently.

So about 2 weeks ago my phone did the Oreo update… Ever since . I have 15 different APN’S and none of which have the same MMSC that you have listed… It will stay connected to any the 15 I have and I can’t wait anything but the line that says APN…. Also when I tried to do a factory reset on it… It told me WARNING! A custom IS installation could be harmful press up volume to continue down or press down volume to reboot phone…

I’m not entirely sure what you’re doing. Are you saying you tried to reset the APN to the default and got a warning? Any warning there is nonsense. What phone is this?

It was factory unlocked. I tried to set that but it doesn’t seem to hold it.

Change the setting to global, not cdma, not gsm.

There is no “system updates” in my settings for me to do the updates for PRL and profile……

I don’t think it is carrier branded, but T-CDMA 64 is always, for the most part, on the top left corner of my screen. I will conduct the profile and PRL updates now and post results after doing so. Thank you for your assistance Joe.

I can’t say for sure without seeing your phone, but from your description it sounds like your phone has been hacked to have a custom rom on it. If you do a Google search for T-CDMA 64 all the hits that come up are for phone’s that have custom roms installed, so that’s why I think that. You’re going to have to figure out if that’s the case or not. If so, you’ll have to figure out the exact variant of the lg x power that you have and restore back to stock ROM. I cannot provide much guidance there,… Read more »

Unlocked/unbranded LG V30. Not getting MMS messages (obvious gif’s shows up as static jpeg images). I think sending MMS works as I have not heard anyone say anything about my messages. Data/internet work as expected. APN shows up as VZWINTERNET. Any ideas?

Yes I know and I have that page for TW, thank you. No clue if it is stock or custom, I bought it online. Nope, don’t know how to do a prl update and the pref. network is set correctly. Resetting to default did not work or did nothing and no go to the dialers code. been with TW for about a year now.
