Verizon is continuing its aggressive promos in prepaid thanks to a callout from Mint Mobile in their 4-line free offer. Verizon's Value brand, Total Wireless, has introduced a new $15/month unlimited plan promo with a 5-year price guarantee. This offer is available to customers who port their numbers from Mint Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, or T-Mobile, with two or more lines. It is available exclusively online and in Total Wireless retail stores. According to the most recent prepaid report from Wave7 Research, there are now more than 1k Total Wireless stores opened.
Update: This offer has an end date of 9/30/24
The promotional offer requires the use of a promo code, and what promo code you'll use depends on what provider you are switching from. T-Mobile customers can use BYEBYETMOBILE at checkout, Mint Mobile switchers will use BYEBYEMINT, and Metro customers can use BYEBYEMETRO.
The Total Wireless $15 unlimited plan offer is surprisingly not for their $40/month base unlimited plan but for their $55/month "Total 5G Unlimited" plan. This plan includes Ultra-Wideband coverage for the fastest data speeds available on the Verizon network and also has premium priority data. Your data speeds will not slow down compared to other customers on the network when the network is busy with traffic. The plan also has 15GB of hotspot, $200 off your next phone after 12 monthly payments, calling and texting to international numbers, a 6-month DISNEY+ subscription, plus roaming in Canada and Mexico and 15+ other countries. The $15/line promotional offer includes all taxes and fees.
Update: Total Wireless dealer stores may also have their premium flagship $65/month Total 5G+ Unlimited plan available for $25/month when you switch from an eligible carrier with two or more lines. This plan adds over the $55 plan, unlimited hotspot, a free DISNEY+ subscription plus a $10 long-distance credit to 120+ destinations. Update 2: A Verizon Value Brands executive confirmed this additional offering is not available in stores, although at least one dealer posted on social media about such an offer.
The price lock guarantee is for five years, but you can lose the guarantee under a few circumstances. You may forfeit the price lock guarantee if your service is lapsed, suspended, terminated, or you migrate to an ineligible plan.
Editor's Take
This is a really impressive offer. A truly unlimited data plan that includes premium priority data plus hotspot usage for $15/month with taxes and fees included is unheard of. It shows again that Verizon is serious about growing its prepaid customer base at the expense of its competitors.
Last week, Visible by Verizon launched a $15/month unlimited plan promo aimed at T-Mobile postpaid switchers. There's also a $25/month unlimited plan promo from Straight Talk. Each one targets a different market demographic.
Visible's offer targets single-line customers who prefer to do their business online as it's an online-only brand. Straight Talk's offer targets consumers who shop in national retail. The offer is available at Walmart. Total Wireless's offer is targeted to customers with multiple lines who like to shop online and in branded stores. In my opinion, the Total Wireless deal is the best for customers with two or more lines as it's the only one that provides premium priority data and it comes with various other benefits not available through the other Verizon prepaid brands.

How To Sign Up
For anyone trying to get this promo having issues with the Total Wireless website, here's a short video (no sound) you can follow on how to sign up. This is how I signed up using the code to leave T-Mobile:
NOTE: If you have an iPhone, you *may* have to activate it with a physical SIM card. It does not matter if you have an eSIM-only phone. This is explained in their FAQs.
Update: Redditors are stating they have been able to activate the $25 BYOD promo version of this plan on eSIM and perhaps this particular FAQ is outdated or meant for those who purchase an iPhone directly from Total Wireless.
I wanted to switch 4 lines, but the website does not work correctly, as it would only take my first phone number and IMEI number, then when I went to add the next line, it doesn’t ask for any additional information about the phone number or IMEI number. I called Customer Service, and the Rep set up 4 accounts and transferred my numbers from T-Mobile. They are not in the correct plans (2 are in $40/per month and 2 are in $30 per month) and I’m being told now there is nothing they can do about it. I’m trying to figure out how to get this fixed.
How do you get the 5G+ for $25 a Line 2+ Lines I called up a few stores in Texas Florida Missouri New York & California but they’re all saying that they only have the Total 5G plan for $15 2+ lines or the Total 5G+ 4 Lines for $30 a Line Thanx
You can also get that straight talk plan online now.
