Late last year Simple Mobile launched a multi-month plan through its independent dealer channel. It gave customers 3-months of wireless service with unlimited everything and the first 12GB of data each month at 4G LTE data speeds for $100. That worked out to an average cost of $33.33/month. The promo was available for just a few months. Now, Simple Mobile has elected to bring an updated version of that plan back, and once again it is available exclusively through the dealer channel.

Simple Mobile's Updated Multi-Month Plan Highlighted
The new multi-month plan offers all of the same features it did previously, except it now comes with 15GB of monthly 4G LTE data instead of 12GB before throttling to 2G data speeds. The plan also includes unlimited talk, text and international talk and text to dozens of countries. Mobile hotspot is included. International talk, text, and data roaming in 16 Latin American countries is available at no extra charge. Roaming countries include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, an Uruguay.
The plan normally retails for $40/month or $37.50 with autopay billing enabled. By purchasing the multi-month plan, customers save $15.00 overall compared to renewing the plan each month with autopay enabled and assuming the first month does not come with the availability of an autopay discount. Taxes and fees cost extra in all cases.
This offer is scheduled to be available until 12/31/2019. It is not available online directly through Simple Mobile, it is only available through Tracfone authorized dealers. Simple Mobile is a Tracfone brand that runs on the T-Mobile network.
For those willing to take on a little bit of risk, you may be able to get the plan significantly cheaper through eBay with a few caveats. There's a seller offering the plan with 3-months of service for $34.95. The plan being sold through eBay is only available to new customers getting a new phone number. It is not available to those that wish to port in a number. It is not available to current Simple Mobile subscribers unless they discard their current SIMs and get a new phone number. The seller has 99.3% positive feedback and has been with eBay since 2003, but that is not a guarantee that you will get the service and product you expect if you purchase the plan. There are other sellers on the platform that also appear to be selling the plan at a significant discount.
Those who prefer to buy the plan through a safer route which is through their local independent dealer should not face all the caveats that this eBay seller has. New customers will be able to port their number into Simple Mobile without issue. Current customers may also be able to pick up the plan without having to give up their phone numbers.
