H2O Wireless Increases Data and Adds Mobile Calling to Mexico on Select Plans

H2O Wireless, a prepaid wireless provider that operates on AT&T's network has announced some changes to its plans.

$60 Unlimited Plan

First off, the company replaced its short lived $65 plan which was only announced back in April, with a plan that costs $60.  The $65 plan included 3.5 GB of 4G LTE data, while the $60 plan ($54 with autopay) gets 4 GB of 4G LTE data.  Other than the addition of more high speed data and a lower price, the new plan has all the same features of the old.  Those features include unlimited talk, text and data with data at 128 kbps once the high speed allotment is used up.  Unlimited international talk (( Each monthly plan account can dial up to 10 unique international telephone numbers each month which resets upon the 1st of each month, regardless of plan expiration. Calls to countries other than the U.S. will be terminated at 60 minutes, but you may re-initiate the call thereafter. )) and text to 50+ countries and a $20 international calling credit to use towards countries not included with the unlimited international talk feature.

Unlimited Mobile to Mobile Calling to Mexico

H2O Wireless has also added unlimited mobile to mobile calling to its $30, $40 and $50 plans.  A new $35 plan was also announced that includes this perk as well.  Of course there is some fine print to go along with this feature as well.  H2O Wireless says this is a limited time promotion and calls to Mexico mobile numbers will be terminated at 60 minutes, however you are allowed to call right back after the initial call gets terminated.  The $30, $35, $40, and $50 plans break down as follows:

All plans include unlimited talk and text, and unlimited international talk and text to 50+ countries.

1. $30 plan ($27 with autopay) includes 500 MB of 4G LTE data hard capped, and a $10 international calling credit.
2. $35 plan ($31.50 with autopay) includes unlimited data with the first 500 MB at 4G LTE speeds before being reduced to 128 kbps.  A $10 international calling credit is also included.
3. $40 plan ($36 with autopay) includes unlimited data with the first 1 GB at 4G LTE speeds and a $20 international calling credit.
4. $50 plan ($45 with autopay) includes unlimited data with the first 2 GB at 4G LTE speeds and a $20 international calling credit.

If you require AT&T's coverage and the international calling and texting features, H2O's plans offer an excellent value to the consumer.  If you prefer having more data though, you may find Cricket Wireless or another ATT MVNO to be a better value for you.
