Google Wants You to Have $10/Month Off a Fi Phone Plan and $800 Off a Pixel

Google Fi has launched a new promotional offer giving new customers $10/month off the Unlimited Premium (reg $65/month) plan for 24 months with the purchase of a Google 10 series Pixel phone.

Customers purchasing a phone will instantly receive $350 off the price of the phone plus bill credits for 24 months for up to an additional $450 in savings. Wave7 Research reported the deal in the latest prepaid report the firm sent to its subscribers.

Deal Qualifications and Fine Print

Google Fi considers a new customer to be anyone who hasn't subscribed to the service in the last 180 days. To keep the $350 instant discount on either a Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, or Pixel 10 Pro Fold you'll have to meet the following requirements:

• Activate the phone on a new Unlimited Premium plan line within 30 days of receiving confirmation of device shipment
• Remain active and keep your account in good standing for at least 120 consecutive days

Failure to meet both requirements will result in Google charging $350 back to your Google Pay account.

To get the additional $450 device discount (or $449 for some reason with a base Pixel 10) over 24 months you must meet the same requirements as above. The way you receive those credits depends on how you buy your phone:

• With device financing: You’ll get 24 monthly bill credits applied toward your device payments.
• Paid in full: You’ll receive up to $450 in monthly account credits instead.

If you cancel service at any time before the 24 months is up any remaining bill credits you have will be forfeited.

The $10/month plan discount on the Unlimited Premium plan also lasts for 24 months, provided you don’t cancel your plan or switch to a different Fi plan. Doing so will forfeit the remaining credits.

Google Fi is available online and in stores. It’s now being sold at the newly launched Back Market store in New York City, as well as Google retail stores. Google currently operates stores in New York City; Boston, MA; Santa Monica and Mountain View, CA; Austin, TX; and Oak Brook, IL, with two more opening soon in Aventura, FL, and Washington, DC.
