Español Mobile is a new prepaid wireless provider that operates as an MVNO on the Sprint network. Their base plans range in price from $4.99 a month for 30 minutes of talk and 30 texts and go up to $45 a month for unlimited talk, text and 2 GB of 4G LTE data. While their base prices don't really stand out above any other MVNO, and in some cases they are actually more expensive, they do essentially offer a la carte pricing which stacks them up against Ting and Virgin Mobile Custom. They also allow you to "top up" or "recharge" as they call it at any point during the month. This means that if you are on a plan and run out of minutes, texts or even data, you can simply add more of whichever feature you ran out of, independent of the others. So, for instance, you could sign up for the $45 plan and end up using up all of your data before the month is out, but you'd have the option to add more by "recharging" where you can add anywhere between 30 MB and 2 GB of LTE for $1.50 and $44 more respectively. You could also sign up for the $4.99 a month plan and simply "recharge" immediately by adding 1 GB of data for $23 and thus customize your own plan.
The pseudo carrier also stands out a bit from many other prepaid wireless providers in that they do offer roaming, although they say that if you are roaming regularly for 50% or more of the time, you can have your service terminated. This is perhaps why they are slightly more expensive then some competitors. Español Mobile also offers a small selection of Android and iOS devices for purchase though many are refurbished and older devices. Bring your own device users are also welcomed to the network.
