I want you to learn the ins and outs of New York Mobile so that you can make an informed decision on if this is the best place for you to spend your money.
Postpaid Phone Plans
How New York Mobile Plans Work
New York Mobile formally launched in March 2025. This is a postpaid service provider that operates on the T-Mobile network.
New York Mobile seeks to differentiate itself from other MVNOs on the market by allowing customers to pick their own vanity or custom phone numbers. It is suited for both individuals and businesses and supports up to 100 lines of service. Subscribers have the ability to pay a monthly fee to license phone numbers or they can pay monthly installments ranging between 12 and 24 months to be able to purchase and own phone numbers. Prices range from as low as $5/month to license and a few hundred dollars to purchase to a few hundred dollars a month to license and thousands to purchase.
New York Mobile is not simply reselling phone numbers from one of the many number brokers on the market. They have exclusive access to hundreds of thousands of nationwide phone numbers.
Phone plans start at $13/month for a plan with 1GB of 5G data. Their plans come with nationwide roaming on other networks which is another way they hope to differentiate themselves from other providers on the market. They offer two types of phone plans, “bundled,” and “create your own.”
Create your own plans work by allowing you to choose one of three data allotments. From there you can choose to add custom bundles like device protection and calling to international numbers, two features that are included with bundled plans.
