How Flex Mobile Plans Work
Flex Mobile is an MVNO launched in 2024 as a prepaid brand by the Lifeline provider Excess Telecom. The company exclusively offers eSIM service and does not provide physical SIM cards, meaning you’ll need an eSIM-compatible device to sign up. Flex Mobile operates on the T-Mobile network.
Flex Mobile offers a selection of monthly plans, with discounted rates available for three-month, six-month, and annual subscriptions. All plans include unlimited data; however, data speeds will slow significantly, becoming nearly unusable and expected to be no faster than 128Kbps after you’ve exhausted your high-speed data allowance.
Taxes and fees are not included in the listed plan prices and will be added separately. If you’re dissatisfied with the service, Flex Mobile provides a 7-day refund policy. To request a refund, you must contact their customer support and explain your reason; however, approval is not guaranteed for all requests. Refunds for prepaid plans are prorated, meaning you’ll only be refunded for the unused portion of your service.
Flex Mobile has not provided clear information regarding hotspot usage or video streaming speeds. I’d expect video quality to be limited to a resolution of 480p.Â
