The next wave of new Motorola phones is upon us.  It started with the recent announcement of the Moto G7 series with more announcements due to follow.

New phone announcements mean we get discounts on older models.  And once again, the Moto X4 is being discounted.

The 32GB Moto X4 which was released in late 2017 is now available at Amazon for just $149.99.  List price is $349.99.  Those with an Amazon Prime subscription can pick up the Prime Exclusive version for just $139.99.  The only difference between the two models is that the Prime Exclusive one comes with Amazon Alexa built in and a few other Amazon apps preinstalled.

If you prefer, you can also pick up one up from BH Photo or directly from Motorola for the same $149.99 price tag.

The Motorola X4 features the following specifications:

And I thought I was getting a good deal, buying my Moto X4 at $199 last Prime Day — grrr! The Moto X4 is a sweet phone (and has updated to the current version of Android) — and it’s an even sweeter deal at this price. Unless you have to have one of the newer long-silhouette phones (like the Moto G6 or G6 Play), the X4 would be a great upgrade from an old phone, or (at $139/$149) a great first smartphone.
