The LG G2 was LG's 2013 flagship phone. It can still hold its own today particularly with its impressive 3000 mAh battery, 5.2 inch 1080p screen, 2 GB Ram, 32GB storage and 13mp camera. It still matches up well with many of today's top smartphones. It is a phone I generally recommend getting used for under $200 on eBay for those in need of a new device. However, today "Yapper Wireless" has begun selling the ATT model new and unlocked for just $249.99. The model will work on both ATT and T-Mobile based MVNOs, however you may be better off using it with ATT as the phone doesn't support one of the frequency bands used by T-Mobile at 1700 MHZ and the potential limitations of missing this band can be found here. A good alternative to the D800 is the VS980 which is the Verizon version of the LG G2 which in addition to the specs described above, it also includes qi wireless charging. The VS980 is sold by default unlocked, and can work on Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T based networks. It does have limitations as well, as it does not include all the bands supported by T-Mobile and AT&T. For instance, in my area the VS980 is able to pickup AT&T mostly on the HSPA+ network.
