Good2Go Mobile has updated its website and is offering new plans.  The MVNO appears to still be operating on the AT&T network.  Good2Go Mobile does not state it's network partner but on its coverage map the company does state that:

"Global Wireless Solutions Best Network OneScore crowns our network partner the “best US network in largest ever mobile performance evaluation.'"

A quick search on Google shows that particular "best US network" award is for AT&T's network.  Good2Go Mobile's new plans are highly competitive for pay by the month plans on the AT&T network.  In fact, the plans will even give some MVNO's on the Sprint and T-Mobile networks a run for their money.  One highly competitive plan features unlimited talk, text, and data with the first 1GB at 4G LTE speeds for just $15/month with an auto-pay billing discount of $5/month applied.

Good2Go Mobile's Updated Phone Plans Highlighted

Good2Go Mobile is now selling 4 phone plans with data and here they are.

  • $15/month - 1GB high-speed data
  • $20/month - 2GB high-speed data
  • $30/month - 4GB high-speed data
  • $40/month - 7GB high-speed data

All plans shown include unlimited talk, text, and data with the specified amount of data at LTE data speeds before throttling to 128Kbps.  Subscribers can add additional high-speed data to their plan any time priced at $10/GB per month.  Mobile hotspot data is not included.

Pricing for each plan does not include taxes and fees.  The prices are shown with a $5/month auto-pay billing discount applied.

International calling and texting to over 60 countries can be added to any plan for $5/month.

Unfortunately for iPhone owners, Good2Go Mobile's FAQ's state that MMS picture messaging is not supported.  The company says this is a known issue.  BestMVNO believes the issue is caused by Apple blocking the feature from working with providers that don't want to pay Apple one way or another to enable it.

Good2Go Mobile still offers a Pay Go plan that costs $10/month with billing at rates of 5¢ per MB, minute, or SMS text message.

How Good2Go Mobile's Old Plans Compare

In February of 2018 plans were updated to look like this:

Good2Go Mobile's Old Plans

  • $20/month - 1GB of data
  • $30/month - 3GB of data
  • $40/month - 6GB of data
  • $50/month - 8GB of data

All plans included unlimited talk and text, however, the old plans did not include unlimited data.  Data was hard capped.  Subscribers that enabled auto-pay billing on their account got both a $5/month discount which is included in the prices shown here, plus carryover data.  The new plans do not come with carryover data.

Overall, the new plans are a nice improvement compared to what was previously offered.  They are cheaper and come with more high-speed data.  At most price points they compare favorably in the marketplace.

Besides the updated plans, Good2Go Mobile updated its website.  The website had long been neglected, looked dated and in fact portions of it were broken and did not work correctly.  This would have been a turn off for me as a potential customer, but the brand has been carried in dealerships and at Best Buy for quite some time.  Fortunately, everything is now fixed.

The AT&T powered provider also updated its social media accounts and is predominately active on Facebook where it seemed to come back to life just a few months ago.
